Arrow’s existing website had strong foundations, but like many long-running websites, it had gradually accumulated more pages and content than needed.
Joe wanted the website to feel fresh and current without throwing away what already worked. The goal wasn’t a dramatic redesign. It was to modernise the experience, tighten up the content, and create something cleaner and easier to navigate while keeping within budget.
The main project considerations included:
Our team approached the Arrow refresh with a focus on efficiency, clarity and design refinement.
1. Website review and content planning
We started by reviewing the existing Arrow website and identifying the most important content across the current pages. The focus was on what users actually needed to access quickly and how we could present that more clearly.
2. Design refinement
Jemma led the design phase, taking the foundations of the current website and modernising them with updated spacing, cleaner typography, stronger visual hierarchy and a more polished layout. The goal was simple: keep the recognisable Arrow style while bringing the design into 2026.
3. Single-page structure and navigation
Once the content structure was mapped out, we reorganised the information into a single-page format. Custom scrolling navigation was introduced so visitors could quickly move between sections and always understand where they were on the page.
4. Development and animation
The site was then built in WordPress and enhanced with lightweight animations including smooth scrolling transitions and an animated logo carousel. We also created a custom-designed values graphic to visually communicate Arrow’s key principles in a more engaging format.
5. QA and launch
Before launch, the site was tested across devices and screen sizes to ensure navigation, responsiveness and animations worked smoothly. Once approved, the refreshed website went live with minimal disruption.
The finished website delivered exactly what Arrow was after: a fresh, modern website without the cost or complexity of a full redesign.
Key outcomes included:
The end result feels familiar in all the right ways, but noticeably sharper. A clean refresh, a simpler user journey, and a website built to keep Arrow moving forward.
